Webroot Essentials is the new name for Webroot SecureAnywhere products. We changed the name to simplify our different packages and make it easier for you to find what you need.
Webroot Essentials is designed to offer a comprehensive protection package for one, three, or five devices. It includes antivirus, anti-malware, browser protection, anti-phishing, and password manager solutions.

Webroot comes in three main packages:

1. Webroot Essentials offers antivirus, anti-malware, browser protection, anti-phishing, and password manager for one, three, or five devices.

2. Webroot Premium offers everything that’s in Webroot Essentials—plus a system optimizer and identity protection. For individuals with five devices and one identity, or for families with 10 devices and 10 identities. Includes up to $1M fraud expense and stolen funds reimbursement*.

3.Webroot Total Protection offers everything that’s in Webroot Premium—plus parental controls and secure VPN. For individuals, protects five devices and one identity; for families, protects 10 devices and 10 identities. In addition, Webroot Total Protection includes automated cloud backup and restore, with unlimited storage, for one device.

Webroot also offers additional apps for more privacy and performance, like Webroot AntiVirus for PC Gamers, Webroot Secure VPN, Webroot PC Optimizer, and Webroot Security for Chromebooks.

These products are now respectively replaced by Webroot Essentials for 1, 3, or 5 devices. Webroot Essentials includes an antivirus, anti-malware, browser protection, anti-phishing, and password manager.
Yes, you always have the option to renew your existing plans or you can choose to switch to Webroot Essentials, Webroot Premium, or Webroot Total protection.
